What it means
The product cleared 85/100 on the weighting profile that applies to it, survived our full test window with a real dog in its fit band, and had no safety deal-breakers.
It cannot be bought
There is no fee, no sponsorship tier, no application, and no paid review path. Brands cannot pay for the badge, pay to keep it, or pay to remove a Failed verdict. Affiliate commissions never touch a score.
It can be lost
We re-test when a product is revised or when owner reports flag a new failure mode. A badge removed is announced in the review, not quietly deleted.
